I WRITE on behalf of the Thursday Health Group, Chippenham, and bewildered patients who question how, after the South West Strategic Health Authority wrote off a deficit of £20.5m plus the remaining debt of £22m, the new financial director now forecasts there could be a deficit of £3m this year.

SALISBURY’S residual waste is destined for an incinerator in Slough, Berkshire, because the county waste management team decided that they would choose this option over minimising and reprocessing all waste streams.
